Scraps at £146

Blimey. My local scrappy quoted me 70 quid a ton last week, when he took the Mrs' ZS180 away. Am I being ripped off?

I’ve never had a good price from anyone that quotes “ X a ton, mate” when scrapping cars ever. Usually followed by “scraps real low at the moment mate”

£122 for a ZS near me at the moment.

I find face coverings claustrophobic and very unconformable so I would have to give it a miss.

I'd be fine with facemasks and the auction in general, we can play the game and chat etc

What Im worried about is the truckers Rest... Socially distanced breakfast doesn't sound as fun

Just looked at the Auction's website; usual masks and spacing but £200 up front for a bidding card to be allowed in. I think that's a NO
