Done the arches / back of sill too, but definitely a 20 yard job. Wrong silver for starters.

And you. :)

As for the spray job, my main goal was to stop the rot from spreading too much, so it was a case of sand back, kurust, spray.

I was originally planning on doing something like we did with the Rover to it, but so far I've just been cleaning and sorting bits. It's weird, as I normally wouldn't care, but it's like a stray dog that just needs some love and a good home.

I've fixed the boot catch, it was just the cable had stretched. Once I finally got into it, was a simple fix.

there may be a spare ignition coil in the glove box, I ordered one online but mother gm was impatient and took it to scaryoldcortina to fix before mine arrived :)

Another journey, more to report.

Wiper self park has fixed itself. Faulty relay?

Feels a tiny bit strangled when pushed, symptom of older owners all its life or exhaust issues?

Exhaust blow isn't too bad actually, more of a sporty rumble ?

Next things to do are just cleaning...

These are ace. Had one as my first car in 2008 and have had a couple of others for brief periods since.
