Trailer question

I have a small trailer I have not used for a while - it needs new tyres and a service - does anybody know where I can get the rubber strips that fit inside the box section that houses the wheels? The wheels are attached to solid bar which is a tight fit in between the rubbers.

I think they're Indespension units?  If so, complete replacement units are pretty cheap.

If they are indespensions there is usually a bar out from the rubbers with box section welded on and a stub axle mounted on that. You would need to buy units to fit your hubs, or units with hub to fit your wheels.

Photo would help.

Mostly like this, but some do come as part of the axle.

I wouldn't say they were cheap myself

Have a look at the Screwfix catalogue. They have all the bits in the trailer and towing section.( They are not a dating agency apparently).

Try Towsure, they generally have all the bits, but unless your in Brum or Sheffield I think it's mail order.

Hi, Yes, on smaller trailers like your box trailer it's the whole axle unit, on larger trailers it's individual units.

The jen you wine units are assembled with liquid nitrogen IIRC, so not really a DIY prospect.
