Recently on my mini/Bini thread I said about an issue with reprogramming the BC1 unit and after taking it to a BMW specialist was told it couldn’t be done as I didn’t have the code on the key circuit board so I needed a set of keys and another ECU if I wanted central locking.

 

I got a private message from Barvarian retro and he linked a program for me to get the code which was used with great success.

Once done I now need to use this code for my keys and a specialist computer which goes in the obd socket and Barvarian retro told me not to worry and is sending the computer in the post.

 

I’ve asked if he wanted some money as I thought he needed to cover costs of postage and he won’t take a penny.

 

I really don’t know a site like Autoshite which has such decent genuine people.
