Why have you listed the Citroen under Renault?

I started the ad selling my espace quadra hence the classic cars and renault catorgry. Ebay let you edit everything except that. As I had paid for a months worth of classified ad and sold the car within a week it would be silly to pay the robbers at ebay another 15 quid listing fee. It may not get as many hits but there are so many mongs on ebay it doesnt really make much difference

From what I'm lead to believe, the guy who had it before was doing something inside the car. He had the steering wheel off at the time. He lost his rag, punched the speedo (see pic) got out the car, Punched the O/S/R door (see pic) then picked up a broom,Wrapped it over the roof (see pic) and then belted the boot aswell

We've all thought about doing it at one point or another to our cherished* vehicles.

"no its worth £650 as it stands,

i know that & im not worried

anymore

about the cash or the vehicle,

principle is i dont like people,

who think they can push,

get things for next to nothing,

so i would rather scrap it,

than take an offer of £300 from you,

simple as that,

dont email back,

as i have no interest,

in your tactical chit-chat,

ok?

Am I the only one who sees this as the product of a failed rapper? I can almost hear the beatbox and the turntable being scratched?

Oh yeah...

It'll be nice a quick then, but will drink like a V8. They are wonderful though. Imagine a W123 Merc but somehow more engaging.

Well, it certainly is not for the faint at OMGMPG.

However, it's very cheap to buy and the value increase in the foreseeable future will compensate for a premium in fuel consumption at least in part.

On the other hand, the time is nigh when this is going to really become prohibitively expensive, and then you will regret each and every inch you haven't driven it.

This sounds GR-12 and I certainly believe the seller has a good command of mechanics.

I am selling my Mitsubishi which, outside of having to replace the brake calipers every 12 minutes, has been a pretty good car for me.

It does run, but it has several problems, not least of all not having a "lady driver" for the last 65000 or so miles.

I like your sales skills. Any bad points?

There is some sort of arcing in the engine that my partner stopped temporarily with black electrical tape.  He also tells me that some cap may have a crack in it which may be contributing to the problem.  The engine light keeps coming on.

Ok. It's winter. Would it be good transport?

Um, what else, it is a petrol, it hates snow...really hates snow

Hmmm. I'm not convinced. Really sell it to me!

It is using oil.  It has scratches on the lower back bumper (I am not convinced I did this, btw).  These scratches look better if you don't wash it.  A good wash does nothing for it.  It doesn't like to start without threats of bodily harm or prayers or both.  The barrel where the key goes in is worn and it costs a lot to fix it, a lot.  There is one working key, they other distintigrated last year but the clicker still works which you can keep in your pocket for party tricks.  The back windshield wiper goes around in circles and has scratched up the paint on the top of the bumper.  It has never been in an accident with me, aside from the Sainsbury's scratching incident but, honestly, I felt pressured by the car behind me.

I'm out.
