eBay tat volume 3.

Says it's got Traffic Master fitted, but looking at the state of the bumpers, parking sensors would have been a better option :-D

Looks smart enough though, wonder what it'll make?

There's a reserve on it, which may or may not be a cause for concern.  I'm watching it, obv, and if someone wants a Volvo enough to offer me cash I could see myself bidding.

Only on AS would someone consider flogging off a beloved 1996 Volvo in the middle of winter, against a 1990 Nissan!

Maybe not this bit...

Just to clarify as all you perfect ebayers are so anel and need to have all of there thoughts of there chests so they can sleep at night  This car is 50 years old  When I described it as original I mean it is honest it looks ok it's not been altered or messed with with no modifications to the engine wheels brakes suspension interior  I don't mean it is in concours condition  It's a Fu---ng £1000 car not a museum piece  It's a historic driver car  If you want to paint it rebuild the engine do a nut and bolt restoration that's fine  As for some pri--s who are needing to email me in the middle of the night to tell me the car should have xy and z to be described as original go find a room to lie down in and seek some therapy  As for you honest sensible ebayers thank you for your interest and please come and view the car  Thanks

You know, if that keeps away just one of those stupid mongtards, it has paid off.

I will include something similar into my upcoming tardbay auctions.

I hope I'm not coming across as a snob but honestly, I do not understand the state of a lot of these listings.  I know spelling isn't everyone's forte (mine included) but if you know you struggle, a spell check isn't difficult to do. Some of these listings suggest the seller didn't go to school at all, which in my innocent mind I thought was more or less a thing of the past.

I probably do sound like a snob though so I'll shut up.

'The only bad thing I have to say about the car is that unfortunately it currently requires a new engine, after being serviced at a local Hyundai dealership in Rotterdam I drove the car down to Calais (as it was too late to make the Rotterdam ferry), crossed over to Dover and drove up from there. Around Watford Gap the car spluttered to a halt on the hard shoulder at which point I popped the bonnet open and found a hole in the engine block, indicating that the engine has thrown a con-rod out. Moral of the story - don't trust Dutch mechanics.'

I like the way he a) sort of mentions it as an after thought, like it was hardly important the engine is knackered and B) how it's the fault of a Dutch mechanic that the owner ragged the shit out of it and blew it up on the way home.

Kudos for the char-i-tee donation from final price though.
