When I saw it I thought it would suit you!! Looks as though its been sitting a while when you look at the green stuff on the monoblock around the wheels. Brakes are going to need attention I bet.

Rarer than the teeth of the world's rarest hen - in fact an endangered species. The last one on Ebum had it's engine robbed to go in a sports Singer (probably a Le Mans or Roadster) - yea Singer made sports cars pre-and just post -War. I really hope this doesn't happen here. Bodmin is a fair stretch to go see though. Useless trivia : these Hunters had a fibreglass bonnet.

And ps - there is enough headroom for you to wear you Trilby - the kind of car Captain Mainwaring would have had after the war. Sgt Wilson would of course of had the more raffish but faster Mk1 Ford Zephyr.

More nostalgia - these were bought by the well-to-do in the early '50's and usually only came out Sundays for the run to church driven by the gardener/handyman with Daisy and Ethel in the back with a rug over their knees. Progress is leisurely with a pre-select gearbox - but all beautifully made. If you have somewhere to tuck one up a great summer cruiser to flowershows and carshows. No MoT or tax either

Hi , I brought this car about 6 months ago with the intention of getting it an mot and using it on weekends , it was a non runner , so after getting a new fuel pump and getting it fired up it ran lumpy (not noisy) just under load it misfired, so I got new plugs, leads and distributer and it still runs lumpy ...... I'm not a mechanic so I'm stuck , 

 

 

so you popped along to your mechanic who came back with an eye watering quote for ....... and here it is
