If anyone tells you these are shit they aren't. This one has 245,000 miles on it.

They have got a problem with the doors, boot and bonnet popping open at random though.

Exterior very good condition with no dents & superficial surface rust, but requires complete respray...

 
So it isn't in very good condition.
 

My ideal was to use it as it is, as a Retro Ratrod to go to the car shows in & slam it on the floor with 17" banded steel wheels,

 

Mongtard.

 

 

But with too many other toys, I need to sell this Fuego.

 

Thanks God for that.

Is it worth saving this vauxhall lickers? Or is this, in junkman parlance, err...fucked. £200 and roffle worthy?

 

not so good points , turbo fades when accelerate hard , front windows sticking (motors ok ) air con does not work , dash faded due to sun , clock/ outside temp gauge not working , slight loss of water (oil clean ) runs a bit high on temp , small oil leek near bottom of rad s

Aren't these ultra rare in RHD? As in 50 or so sold? Saw one when driving through Newark the other day and was gobsmacked, and now this one is for sale! When one pops up they all do etc.

The front windows do stick (the fall into the door and/or pack up) the dash display pixels disappear and the 2.0 diesel have a bit of a rep. That said the estate versions of these are genuinely ace cars, and if you could sort the niggles out it'd a pretty good daily runabout.
