I can't get the bonnet open to stick a battery on it to see if it runs. The handle works and it pops up but when I pull the release thing in the grill nothing happens so I'm describing it as a non-runner.

 

I'm describing it as being fucked.

The engine is bored out to plus .060 (1150cc) (new) pistons and rings. The crank has been re-ground on mains and b/ends + .010. It has also been wedged. There is a steel duplex vernier cam set (new). The cam is a 544 formula junior racing cam (new). High output oil pump (new) all oil ways in block Drilled and plugged. Centre main strap. There is a 12G 940 big valve head

 

If my father did work on cars, I wouldn't know any of this.

the van does need an MOT in which i understand may need a little bit of weilding underneath.
all in all a great little van.
