Relive your misspent youth by telling everyone how yours does 83mph going UP the Horseshoe Pass, with your fat mate on the back and you were holding it back a bit

...and whilst we're on the subject of spurious claims, did anyone know anyone who had one of these and didn't claim it was 4,765BHP at the wheels because it had a Peco exhaust?

This looks like one of those residential barns that you find on a housing estate in any city or town

I was looking at this a bit because I like the idea of it (depending on if you can buy any parts for them anymore) but it seems to have got the "campervan curse" of just being completely made of plod up to the door handles, the tidemark is just a decoy!

Salty as a crisp salesman's jizz , but , look at it. Old enough to have a first aid box cubby on the parcel shelf and felt lining in the coin holder, too. Rover learnt from Ford on Project Drive, you know.

WTF???????? Son of Alan?

All this said I have never seen an 1100 one - the dash is from an XR2/Ghia the L didnt get the rev counter, and the advert says it has XR subframes so Im assuming it was built from an XR donor and at some point has had an engine swap to an 1100 - not that that would bother me, I quite fancy a Quantum.

Sensibly built with the 'Mono-cock' fibreglass construction, I guess you would need the 'two cocks chassis' if fitted with the mighty 1600 cvh.... :-D
