Is it a diesel Maxi?

No, MG. But thats another thread

I have one of each, although the 903 is yet to be collected, so I can't really comment.

Of my near identical 1500 & 1200, I tend to prefer the smaller engine as its slightly more fun to hoon, without getting nicked.

I barely paid triple figures for any of mine, do a 1k reserve is either going to do the circuit several times, or I will be a very happy bunny

I like this because black Alfa saloons always look classy and sophisticated, plus it's an unusual poverty model 1.6 with wheel trims.

However, I double-like it because the owner's a giant fibber and the new MOT site has caught him out.

Owner says...

https://mot-history.net/says...

That's quite a list.

Somewhere under the Bidding section of My EBay I think.  Someone will get a nasty surprise when they take that to be tested.

You're selling one of the most desirable and sought-after classic cars, and this is the standard of photography.

No under-bonnet shot, and you didn't even bother to hose the dust off the car.

That said, who wouldn't want this for £1850?

Oh, and Numberplate obfuscation award.

Fancy holidaying on a roundabout protesting about fracking as you burn off fossil fuels in a shit old van?

I was reading that '12 cars in a year' thread on RR forum - on a recent post, yer man Piston Popper explains that, following advise from a mate of his 'in the trade' - 'very good photography' leads to no actual calls/bids/potential buyers, as they think its a generic internet stolen pic of that make model / n its all 'a csam', the potential buyer thinks...

...Shit photos in the ad attract more potential bidders/callers /potential buyers as they are now reassured that the car in question is 'real'...

...so on that rationale, perhaps the seller has also this canny trade trick in mind - shit photos sell cars!! I can just forsee Mike Brewer announcing at the end of a forthcoming episode of WD, he advertised the car in a few 'make specific specialist  forums' WITH SOME TRUELY SHIT PHOTOS, n the 'blowah iz bin ringin off de uuk wid keen buyerz redy to splash da cazh'....

Looks OK from underneath

Rear and sides are fine, bet it's very comfy, but jeez, that front grille. Don't think I could stand that gawking at me from outside the house. Could always put some masking tape on the lights I guess..........

I am still lurking about looking for a w140 benz on wheeltrims in that two tone green with orange indicators. In my searching I found this, fitted with them wheels it looks sooooooooooooo long. I also don't like the facelifts. At all.
