A Peugeot  205 diesel car that has been cleverly modified in to a fork lift.

We have used this car for several years to transport pallets around a fruit farm.

The transformation of the car has been done to a very high standard fitted with its own hydrolic powerd forklift, and banded steel wheels

This 924 doesn't add up.

Vendor says it's only covered eight thousand or so miles, but looking at the engine bay, interior shots etc, perhaps he / she is mistaken?

It's been cat c repaired, but the whole car looks quite worn and not quite, by some margin, 'right'. Just look at the state of the dash, etc. Odd.

Am sure, of course, that the vendor is acting in good faith, and that everything is 100% correct, it is Ebay, after all . . .

I know these things go back to zero miles, once over the 100k, maybe the vendor doesn't realise; hope any witless Barrys bidding pull out before it's too late; oh dear.

Total Car Check reckons it's been clocked.

Possibly dodgy milometer on the Porkah? Last digit not working so only ticks over one mile for every ten perhaps.

Can't really see how else they've done it, they might keep plugging in the speedo drive and unplugging it bit that sounds like a massive ballache.

Could be a dodgy odometer based on how much it's epicly failed everywhere else since 2006 but that said if the instrument cluster is held in anything like the MK2 Polo (both being 80's VW products they probably are) it's surprisingly easy once you know what you're doing. I switched the analogue clock for a tacho on my MK2 and had to remove it a few times while messing about with bulbs hence why I know.
