This looks like a bit of a bargain, Zetec powa Cortina on twin 40's for £1650 quid. I'd sack off the twin headlamps but other than that it looks great.

I'm pretty sure this is the colour my cortina was before it got repainted.

^^ Highland Green. A very rare (and brilliantly revolting) colour. I dont think it was offered by Ford for long as no-one wanted it.

Considering one would not shift for £500 on RR a year or so ago, I don't see this selling*. Estimated finishing price £740.

*It might have even been this one, its in the same neck of the woods.

Tasty 1.4 R5, manufactured at a Toyota factory in SA, with high backed velour seats and side exit exhaust. What's not to love?

Glaucoma-friendly decals and comedy named dealer stickers to boot. I wish I could justify owning this!

"1400 5 SPD"

My old Fiat 127 1300GT had similar stickers bragging about its mighty 1300cc engine and the fact it had 5 forward gears.

Bit like this one:

There was an immaculate looking 16v hatchback - in Carlisle I think - on ebay about 18 months ago that failed to make much over £600 as well. I was well shocked at that!

Love these and especially the comedy spelling.

'Wine in first gear' sounds like a Dr.Feelgood B-Side.

I didn't know they made these in diesel flavour?

I did know they made them with chrome arches, wank alloys and naff wooden steering wheels, and this one doesn't disappoint.  I also don't think it looks good in the colour

Link doesn't work but DVLA  think it's a 2.3 petrol with no tax or test

THE REAR AXLE HAS BEEN ON FIRE

Holey crap, what do you have to do to a car to set the rear axle on fire, drive it at 150mph with the handbrake on?

Something like that!!!! He does say the cause of the fire is a brake caliper!!!
