Tis quite a stylish little car that Nissan. I'd like to bomb around in that, although I would prefer a manual box.

Where does the name 'classic' come from? This is as classic to a stately Range Rover as Technoheads I want to be a Hippy is to Brittens War Requiem. Yeah, its music but not as was originally intended by the art form.

I'm afraid we've got Land Rover to thank for the 'classic ' sobriquet, they labeled the old shape Rangie thus when it was sold alongside the P38 and it stuck.

It's got to better than calling them mark 1s or even in a Land Rover style series 1 .

So we have 'Classic', P38, L322 and ...erm, er ..... 'New shape' ?

I was going to put some cars on here that I had found by typing in 'custom car' but they all seem to be exactly the same ones that have been on sale on ebay for the last 4 years.

 

Instead I have found this 'barn find'. Now I have to say, as far as barn finds go its pretty good. It does look like its been sat somewhere shitty for a few years, maybe not a barn but close enough.
