'IT IS WHAT IT IS'

A hopelessly advertised pile of shit with a ripped hood and what looks like a damp interior?

'ITS A BEAUTIFUL CAR AND HAS BEEN LOOKED AFTER NO MATTER THE EXPENSE'

I beg to differ

I spy a Montego.  In possibly not-too-bad condition.  I mean sure there's a Triumph in a barn, but the Montego wins.  Shite caravan too and god knows what else up by the house.  This house is a winner.

You are correct on all counts.

The Montego is mintola and belongs to Captain Slow, as does the Triumph.

The Peugeot is/was Dugong's.

I know these things as I was the nasty MoT tester who failed the Pug.

The car has mot but it is a solid project car. It requires a respray, the interior sorting out as the door cards are coming of and passenger door handle not working. Passenger seat also needs attention. The car starts well and drives well, but it has low oil pressure when up to temperature. I bought it with a replacement block which has been bored out to .30 just needs shells and putting back together. It comes with a full engine gasket pack, new leads, and block plugs. It has a shoe box with lots of paperwork as well. Overdrive and gearbox work well. Has custom exhaust manifolds, stainless fuel tank and exhaust.

Love the fact this mobile detailing outfit has orange flashing lights on the top for those inevitable 'clay bar emergencies'. You can just imagine the look of relief on the faces of some of those pasty-faced single fellers on Detailing World when they see the orange lights accelerating up the street towards them after accidentally driving over some horse shit in the road or whatever. Like the St Bruno tobacco adverts from back in the day.
