Brake line fittings, bulkhead adaptor

Odd one.

I'm fitting callipers from a car that they don't belong to, with some brackets made of steel.

It's to facilitate an upgrade of the utterly woeful standard brakes, buy using some nice alloy Brembo 4 pot jobbies from another car.

However, the brake hoses will now be in the wrong place.  So to rectify that I need to make a bracket that allows me to have a female brake hose input, in the right place, off the adaptor.  Then I'd run a hard line between the two.

So what I need, is basically something that allows for bulkhead fitting, to facilitate that, then I'll make up the hard line using the stuff I already keep in the workshop, the ferrules and copper line.

I'm sure such an adaptor exists, it'll be female at each end, M10x1 or whatever my fittings are (I'll check) and have a threaded body to allow me to put a couple of nuts around it to secure.  But can I find one?

Anyone know what the fitting is usually called?

AFAIK you've got the name right, it's a bulkhead fitting.

I'm sure Peugeot 405's use what you are looking for, on the bulkhead. Trying to find a pic..

Not just get longer brake hoses made, and do away with the bulkhead fitting ?

Hel will make hoses to suit.

Had some made for the Lada as Euro Car Parts, local factors etc said no.

Two new hoses & washers £80

Can't put a price on safety, and no extra leaky joints added !?
