Mondeo jealous of incoming SAAB.

Attempts to emulate night mode on way home.

Fuse suspected.

In at 3 for £20.

Much obliged. Spent £10 on spare centre console as I’ve scratched existing one wrestling with radio.

Outside may be giffered but inside must remain mint.

Mid afternoon bumping with useful* facts.

Giffer X is more comfortable than the Audi A1 I’ve just tried to steal a lunchtime nap in.

Fell asleep with hands behind head as only way to fit, on awakening my blood drained arm dropped like a stone luckily just missing my own stones.

Also, I may go add up the total spend on service history (mains dealer) of the Giffer tonight for lols.

Probably a comfortable three grand. Yes, I’ve chronologically filed it all like a bloody weirdo.

Oooooooh, weirdo. Cool.

Only £90 of the spends was mine (two as yet unfitted wheel bearings! and a boot liner)

I had the folder lying around from the dead Aero :(

Phenomenal underestimation of monies spent...

Main stealer highlights include...

£134 squids for a new battery and that was back at 2009 prices

12/2013 - New fuel pump and sender £518

12/2013 - Rear discs and a caliper £505

02/2016 - Rear wheel bearing and hub assembly £460

07/2016 - New Front discs fitted for £180

07/2016 - New sump for £400 notes

Grand total £8,477,79 in servicing and maintenance across it's cosseted main dealer history.

Amusingly, despite the exterior, body/exterior paint inspections have also been kept up to date, reasons unknown.

We once plotted the cumulative costs verses miles (and time) for a 150k Sierra.

The total costs of servicing, repairs and tyres was twice the purchase price.

I then managed to get the graph into an academic publication jointly written and peer reviewed on Design for Whole Life Cost.

I think it wise never, ever, ever for me to carry out a similar exercise and let it be seen by Mrs PBK. Or anyone.

Don't be giving me ideas, I already work on moving average cost per mile (to pointlessly convince myself I'm not really spending like PBK alludes to) as with work I often do large miles in short times, the wife sees cars as cost per time period, not the miles I batter back into them as does my dad who doesn't seem to comprehend my wear and tear may be higher given I can do 2000 miles in a month and he's got an '09 Vectra on 35,000.

Yes, I’ve chronologically filed it all like a true AutoShiter.

In the unlikely event of sale or roffle this thing is still available once you’ve stopped drooling over the brown one.

It’s likely I’ll keep this and roffle the SAAB in a month though as heaty seats and windscreens in winter = 5 more minutes in bed.

Which of the twenty seven saabs which have been sold or roffled in the last fortnight is it? ;):D
