Fwiw - the dealer did say it would be sold with an MOT. Not that this is relevant because I'm not arsed about the car. Purpose of thread was I suppose, just to waste a bit of time by typing up a recent experience of shite, and also - more pertinently - get the gen on a vanilla old honda. If a lot of you had said whoah these are great, had one, loved it - I might well have mulled it over a bit longer. Before not buying it. Rest of family decidedly lukewarm if not chilly at the prospect.

Someone is selling a 9-3 turbo on here for £350. Looked decent as well.

I would say that’s way over price if I’m honest,

I had a rover 400 with the Honda engine so it was basically a Honda Civic with a chrome grill which had done around 70000 that I bought off an old girl with a good history and in very nice condition and put a fresh ticket on it and advertised it on scumtree and on the Friday ad once I finished with it and I only had a couple of calls.

I put it up for £200 no offers and it did sell but the phone wasn’t working overtime.

Maybe I should of scraped it as I spent about £500 on the thing to get it perfect only to sell it once summer arrived lol.

I think he's bought that for scrap money , will push it out the door hoping the bills for fixing it on the inevitable return trip are low enough to make a profit on it

Fugging hell I thought £1695 was Ok for a 53 reg Accord estate if it was in good nick but having worked out it’s for a mid 1990s car with 53k it’s ridiculous.

 

It’s not like these have any OMG JDM appeal.

 

I can see him getting fed it with it hanging around his lot after 9 months and letting an exporter give him £300.
