Due to lack of plastic body trim, top spot is a 900T, whilst bottom spot is a 900E. Anal I know, but hey....900E also had square rear lights, 900T were oval. 900E had front disc brakes off the Panda, 900T drums all round. 900E also different dash. ANORAKZ :D:D

So what's the purpose of the 2 (not very different I might add...) versions?

What's the purpose of having more than 1 type of cheese?? Or sausages. Or...

What I'm getting at is was one supposed to be plusher, more luxurious or sportier or something else? (as is usually the case between different versions of the same model)

Judging by vin's comments, it sounds like the 'E' is the revised version, the 'T' being discontinued.

Oh right, I see what you mean Reg. I thought of you last night. I was watching that episode of Father Ted where they holiday in a shit caravan.

Sorry for confusion Reg900E replaced the 900T in about 1980Changes were mainly just cosmetic (wing mirrors, plastic trim, wheel pressing, rear lights, dashboard). Only major mechanical change was front discs.

No probs. How's your 900T coming along anyway? 8)

This bus is doing well :)

Cant decide what body is on it though - East Lancs?

Yep, definately East Lancs because of the ingrained ugliness of it.

Plymouth had quite a number with more attractive Park Royal bodywork but switched to East Lancs for this order of late Atlanteans
