I offered to help my friend's mum get rid of this, I think she had enough of spending money on it. MOT expires in January.

It's had new brake pipes and has a new exhaust to be fitted.

It looks a bit neglected and I think the roof leaks slightly. It starts and drives fine but the engine management light is covered with tape, the airbag light is on as well.

Be like Princess Diana for £150 and a bottle of wine for my friend's mum.

Shiply isn't as cheap as it used to be , I think DVSA have been stopping all the guys with discoveries moving cars about without tacho's and operators licences handing out big fines

I was quoted £270 Somerset to Warrington by 4 companies , it's just not worth it on a cheap car

Always liked the look of these. Pm sent for nearest train station so can work out train ticket costs

It's provisionally sold to the first person who messaged me, I don't think he'll make this GLF with its natural aspiration, despite its too many valves.

Probably worth 3 or 4 times that in bits. If it was the beginning of summer it’d have been great, leave the top down all the time, take it within an inch of its life over summer, then double your money in Autumn breaking it up. It’s almost like working as Arfur Daley used to say.

I'm not sure how many people want bits off a below average car. The photos do flatter it.

I was temped to take it on myself, clean it up and clear the warning lights for a wee bit of profit but I'm moving away from proper Scotland to the central belt shortly.

Do you reckon this would make the trip back to Durham? Got a friend who is up for it if he can drive it back safely!
