A family friend wrote her car off last night (thankfully, she’s fine), but she urgently needs a cheap but reliable runabout.

 

Sub-£600 and ideally Midlands-ish.

Having had a quick look in the for sale section of these very pages, the one that jumps out as most suited is the Rover 75 diesel in Aylesbury, not far. Cracking cars, proper luxury for banger money, up for 650 so might go for less?

Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 petrol,06 reg. five speed,  five door, 114000 ish miles, black, mot expires August 8th, taxed to get you home if purchased no later than next Tuesday.

 

Will need three tyres, steering pulls to left, passenger side dipped headlight inoperative, cam chain rattles until oil light goes out, windscreen cracked on passenger side and anything else that may fail mot test rectifying.

 

Cosmetically very presentable inside and out plus tow bar, single electric plug. Factory alloys with locking wheel nuts, newish battery, quarter tank of petrol, music.

 

Bought in April as temporary transport for daughter who had returned home from working abroad until something less shite was aquired. Done about 2000 miles in it with no FTP's.

 

Replacement vehicle has now been boughted.

However, she’s now sorted - she’s picked up a VW 1.4 16V Lupo in Fantasia Green...which, by some strange coincidence is identical to her old Lupo (cambelt failure), still parked up in her garden...
