So, another bloody collection thread. The Tipo just sold to a new owner for the full asking price (not used to this) and it was, being honest, quite a sad sale. I genuinely liked that car, but the new owner is going to restore it.

I do now have to get a train to deepest Wiltshire/Dorset, and it's all gratis. Working for the railway has its perks.

 

The car has just had 12 months ticket slapped on it. Not one of those dodgy clean passes either, this actually failed first time round due to the exhaust. It's now sorted.

I actually missed out on the same car a year ago (ish) and the seller is the guy who bought it at the time. Satisfying.

It means worst seat.

 

It's the awful fold down chair practically in the gangways of the train. It'll do.

Also I've now got a proper seat. These refurbished 159s have the best seats I've ever had on a train. Proper padding and angle. Good old SWT did it right.
