Whats to know about these boats? Anyone had one (Spottedlaurel must have had at least Juan Shirley. Did they share platform/parts with anything a bit more common?

 

My google tai chi is weak today. And you lot know it all.

I've seen this one before, best Maxima generation styling wise imo. You should definitely buy it!

 

Personally I'd swap the ugly euro bumper with the original US (JDM?) one though, and get this (imo) nicer looking grille for it:

The seller mentions the timing belt has been done, so hopefully its safe to assume its a belt!

Geordie over on RR had a nice example. Drop him a message with any questions, IMO.

 

They also do good burnouts when you don’t fancy a barbecue.

I had one about 15 years ago and really liked it.  Fantastic torquey V6, the thing went up hills like a steam train, nice interior too.  Felt quite expensive. handled like most Japanese cars of its era.

 

When speaking to a Maxima specialist at the time he said the worst fault on them was the manifold bolts, they broke/rusted and were a nightmare to repair.  Perhaps worth checking those.
