Accord and assorted others

Evening all. I am the silent shitter who recently purchased the Honda Accord, off great guy Phil_lip.

Annoyingly I missed the pez station shot as I was panicking about having to use the green fuel pump for the first time in 8 years or so!

But after a very relaxing cruse along the m5, loving my first experience of cruse control, the accord was looking at home very quickly!

The cordoba is not much longer for this world, but it has proved to be a great stop-gap car that has lasted three years. A few niggling faults that will fail an MOT has spelt the end of days for it.

Jobs for the Honda include in no particular order

1. Sort out drivers window, I like McDonald's drive through too much not to have this working!

2. Drivers speaker does not work.

3. Adjust clutch cruse control switch a little.

4. Source new wing mirrors. The tape on them matches the 504 nicely but does let the car down a little.

5. Add AS sticker to the rear window.

That's it so far. Which is great and looks like it could be a very useful car.

Hope to use this thread to keep me motivated to work on both this and my other 'car' the 504 pick-up. Which has a much bigger to do list!

Number 5 definitely adds 10 bhp and impress the chicks in the maccy D's car park.

So would reversing round flat-out like Ryan O'Neil so you can offer up the working window.....

GLWTS by the way and that 504 kennel truck is the biz.

Really pleased that sold. I liked the look of it a lot but it's not the right car for me at the moment. Looking forward to the updates!

Are you going to tempt anyone with the Cordoba ... you never know til you try

What's the story with the Cordoba? Looks like a TDI badge on the grille. It's going to hurt going from 55MPG to 30MPG.

If the Cordoba is totally irredeemable, they go for decent money to people looking for TDI conversions.

Honda looks nice.

As others have said, tell us more about the Cordoba :)
