That Fiat 133 is a top spot and on the endangered species list according to Practical Classics, only 4 left on the road! In fact i can`t remember seeing one for a very long time.I think these were always over-shadowed by the much more popular 126.

Something I cannot understand, is it a British disease ? drive something like the R4 above home , park it in front of the garage and the leave it there for years until it dissolves. I love to see your spots but its not normal ! (unless you are an AUTOSHITE member)

Ah, the british disease of garages, one of my favourite "hates". Put all the crap you don't really want in the garage, leave the car outside to rot. Like keeping coal in the bathtub.

That R4 is lovely. Surely not been sat there (ie outside) for eight years. Would have crumbled away by now and looks far too good to have sat outside and not moving since 2001.

I can't believe in this day and age, that the Daimler (especially with that number plate) and Audi have been left like this! There was a day when I used to drive up the A34 and find random cars (usually H reg'd Vauxhalls) left abandoned on the laybys. Great to see a yugo 45 again too, but obviously its not for this world for much longer. One crashed into me a few years ago. Not strong.

Nice to see that Escort still crumbling away on the Anstey Lane, if I remember correctly it's an automatic. Would probably have tried to buy it if I'd stayed in the city any longer

Maths teacher at school, who was an evangelical Christian, had a Toyota Camry (first FWD type) with A666 as part of the plate

Was just going to comment on that irony, but you beat me to it! Just to deviate off the thread for a second, is it just me (cue for a rant) or does every fish-car drive at 25 mph all over the road, stalling at junctions, failing to indicate etc, grrr ? Also a trend in these parts amongst Zsara Picasso drivers; if I'm following a fished-up one, I know I'm in for a blood pressure rise

That Audi is a bit hard to take.....last year whilst trying to decide on a 'nu mo-ta' there was a local garage selling a metallic blue N reg one of those & I was sorely tempted. They were asking £2600, so that's probably a couple of grand's worth of car just sitting there abandoned & desolate

Sounds like excessive garage markup to me on the one you saw Reg, even so, a tidy one on that late a plate should still be high hundreds, if not four figures.Unfortunately, that one is not tidy, and the wheels may be an indicator of previous Barry ownership and bodgery. My money is on a cambelt snap causing the car to languish, Audi persisted for years with only giving a mileage recommendation for cambelt changes, rather than age as well. My '84 80 quattro 2.1, when purchased in 2001 with 51k miles, still had the original belt because the change interval was 60k - my mechanic told me the old belt was not much longer for this world when he inspected it!

Believe it or not this Audi is a strange one. The guy regulary sits it up for a few years and then tarts it up mots it uses it for a year then parks it up again

Its in a Leicestershire field which the locals assure me is owned by an old giffer who visits now and again-and is of the shotgun/get orf my land style. I have never caught him there hence the leaning into the hedge shots.
