it makes a great runabout,scraped off loose rust on the sills,tiny hole,slapped on some stevens bridger,than dug out some of aldi black metal paint,looks fine now,found 50 odd pence in astray,seems to previously had a alarm fitted,sensors,small box still fitted,plugged in code reader found code evap canister something,just erased it,...

not much of update,i have changed the timing belt the original ford one was still on,got the locking pin to set timing,tippex the camshafts,timing still bang on from ford so sod locking them at the,removed sparkplug brought piston right up,with screwdriver,then set the pin in,that pulley bolt was well stuck,got the dayco belt from e/parts £16,now the tensioner is right faff,no wonder they changed them after 2 years,new airfilter in,ngk plugs in,running ok,sanded down the lower drivers door,put on kurust for now..

Are you sure the light-up footwell isn't just a bulb has fallen out the back of the dashboard or the gear selector and is dangling?

is pukka interior light will get picture later,still illumination gear selector aswell,bolster on drivers seat is well worn metal showing through,have  called salvage yard they may have one from mk 5...
