In an act of utmost selflessness, this has spat the dummy with injector #3 today..

 

Just as I need it for a 200 mile trip tomorrow.

 

My brother has managed to locate an injector and will be over this evening. If fitting it fails, it'll be E36 time

It has done 2100 miles in the last month...

£50 for a new injector from GSF (the £32.50 one off eBay for the green Clio having failed to turn up after a week so far), SOME 10MM BOLTS and a wee bit of swearing appears to have it running ok.

How do you diagnose which is the broken injector? Do you keep disconnecting wiring from each injector until there is no difference? Or have you clips, think that's Renault version of vcds?

On this one (ph2) it is good enough to give you clues like this:)

On the Ph1 (green one) it hasn't given an injector number so I'll test resistance with a meter

Is it worth keeping a spare injector just in case? Doesn't sound like a rare occurrence.

Put it this way, I haven't cancelled the one that is on order from eBay..
