Fine print seems to render it a little useless for me...

 

... reserves the right to request evidence of permanent repair. Customers are only covered for the vehicle registered at inception of their agreement unless they have previously notified merchant of a change of vehicle; 48-hour inception period applies to any change of vehicle made mid-term. Don't you have to settle with them before you claim it back off the breakdown cover provider?

 

A brief read of their website indicates that this is the case for hotel stays or onward travel but not for the breakdown / recovery services. I may be wrong.

Whenever I have checked the great 'deals' offered when I am renewing my car insurance there is an age limit of car that is totally 'forgotten' by commission hungry telesales wanker.

It all looks pretty transparent to me

 

As I read it the evidence of permanent repair is if they temporarily fix it and you take it as being a permanent repair and it breaks down again, cover for one car unless you tell them it's changed, no cover for 48 hours to stop you breaking down then joining, home start from your actual home , er
