I'd just have to wonder why go to the trouble and expense of creating that! There was something similar on ebay a year or so back, Renner 4 body mounted on a Range Rover chassis.

Again, spotted by the RR crowd....

Is that a dent on the leading edge of the bonnet?

Seller says he'll part with it for £500. Look at those lovely clean arches!

"WE CANT STAND BY AND LET THIS ENGLISH CLASSIC GET INTO THE HANDS OF A BOY RACER WHO WILL STICK LOADS OF PLASTIC BODYKIT AND A STEREO BIG ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE STREET TO HEAR AND WRAP THE CAR ROUND A TREE"Yeah, the entire readership of Fast Car are going to queue round the block for this!! Lovely car though.

Dunno, I'm glad he did though - it made me smile! Can't believe he didn't think it would need an SVA test though...

That Acclaim is really nice. One of the pics has it at £595 in the windscreen, I reckon its cheap at that. These always seem to command higher prices than equivalent Jap makes too.

Blimey - I thought you could only get the 90 in burgundy!

Thats very MadMax! Doors look impossible to get in and out of! Unless your a midget.. or good at limbo and have a double jointed spine!!

This one is situated alongside my route to work. I have been admiring it, appears very straight.

However, this one excites me much more.

YUM YUM.

I nearly bought one of these once, but then I wobbled, head ruled heart, and I bought a poxy Astra instead. What a knob.

I put an engine in one of those once, from the top. I spent some time looking at the engine and the space it was to go through and shaking my head but it was easier than I thought. Getting the firing order right was more of a challenge.

That Cloverleaf is rather nice. Probably the cleanest series 1 33 I've seen in a long time. It doesn't look like it's going to be cheap though. There's another 33 on there at the moment:

Much more of an autoshite price tag, that one...

Quite. It's the "beardy oddball freak" engine of choice though. I've even seen one in a P6 Rover, where a V8 should live. THE HORROR. Despite it's large (and rightly so) price tag, that van thing is still "proper shite" on account of it's horrific looks and doubtless vile driving experience.
