That body kit is horrid, it just make the small wheels look even smaller. It would look so much better without the kit.

I probably would have thought the same in the 80s or 90s but now it looks era correct at least - I expect it's been on the car pretty much forever.

I don't think it has been on that long. It is not Alpina, BBS, Kamei or Zender.

A couple of new bits at Fairmont. Sunroof in the RX-7 is interesting, presumably it either only tilts or is removed and stored in the boot

1500 was four stud in 67 though, no exterior fuel filler either so I don't think the body has been backdated.

It is a bit of a bitsa, back in the 90s I might have approved of the oval window decklid but it's a bit out of place now

HML don't list Borgward as a make - not sure if that's because they have no data for the vehicles or if no-one working there has ever heard of them and so hasn't looked.
