Do you know where this was taken? I bought the car in January this year and it has only done about 250 miles a year for the last 4 years. It looks like this was pre-boot dent

Did you comment on it in Flickr too? I would say that was Asda in Chelmsford, it used to live in the Springfield area

I might have, but i found 2 Photo's and work wont let me in to Flickr - apologies 

Yeah, that is where i got her from - an old lady that was stopping driving. It was her husbands car before that and owned by the original owner from Dagenham before that. Very little other information on her and only 44000 miles from new

On the old MOT's it shows that she did 250 to 300 miles a year - the journey from the house to Asda is 2.1 miles (4.2 round trip) - so it literally drove from Springfield to Asda 50 times a year and to the MOT station

I had a very good friend that lived in Trenchard Crescent but sadly lost touch about 15 years ago

But I was more drawn to this 912, it hasn't got the best paint job in the world, engine was a bit oily - but I felt like I could just enjoy it and not worry too much

I drove past that last May in Westcliff, glad it's still around, very low mileage for a 30 year old

That 912 would be so much better on steels and caps instead of those repop fuchs.

But I think I'd go for the Carrera, so much better without the spoiler on the engine lid, and it's a rarish colour for an '80s car. By the way, has the plate been removed. as the rego is not recognised by DVLA?

I agree about the wheels - no idea on the reg. Spoilt for Porsches on this estate as there's also Design 911 who have some very dribble inducing stuff
