was destined for the crusher

towed it from north London to Ruislip using SWMBOs freelander using a rope.

Note flashing amber light on the roof, trailer board and hi-vis coat.

My interest in it is only as a diagnostics test bed for a few weeks, however this appears to have saved it long enough for someone else to find longer term storage for it.

There was no oil or coolant in it.....  just a coating of sludge on everything.

The new owner who is eventually taking it off of my drive is not afraid of K series OMGHG.

The rear spoiler was dead useful for strapping on a trailer board.

I had a guy pull out of a side turning in front of me on the North Circular but to be fair I was still a fair way off and he did put his foot down and sped up enough to not cause a problem.  Mercedes driver.

Also I had a guy pass in lane two and then cut in front to dart down an off ramp, with his brake lights on as he did it.  It was a bit unpleasant but fortunately he did it quickly.  A people carrier, from memory a Ford Galaxy I think.  Probably a minicab.

The worst drivers in London are minicab drivers in Prius, closely followed by minicab drivers in Galaxys.  I very rarely have a problem with black cabs.  Black cab drivers can be a little assertive or even slightly aggressive (which is normal in London) but at least they are predictable, appear to know what they are doing, and seem to concentrate on the job.  I don't understand how minicabbers can spend all day driving and still appear to have no clue what they are doing.

Bus drivers in London can be pretty evil as well.  An example is if you have to turn left crossing a bus lane.  Most of them will plow on forcing you to stop in a dual carriageway until they have gone through on your left.  I also had one go nuts when I tried to merge in in front of stationary traffic because I wanted to turn left.  I couldn't do it early because you can't until the end of the bus lane.  I don't know what he thought I should do.  I've also had one shouting at me for driving in a bus lane on a Sunday when the signs quite clearly said that I could on a Sunday.  At least they are predictable though.
