It was the first East Coast Retro meet at Shotley with thanks to trigger as always. Lots of pictures, the cut off date for cars on display is 1995.

Nice to briefly meet you Paul, I'm so busy chatting on these evenings that i miss half the stuff that turns up!

 

I only took a few quick photos.

 

 

This Allegro is quite well known and look great next to my Dolly!

 

 

 

This Allegro on the other hand looks fab, it was up for £1500 and being of the road 15 years, the lad bought it, got a local garage to get it back on the road, fitted the alloys and sold it tonight for around £2500!

Love the Vanden Plas, where was the show held and how often does it take place?

We hold the meets monthly over the summer and get around 100-150 cars arrive most months, at one point last year we had around 200 cars, i nearly had a nervous breakdown! It's held at the Shipwreck pub on Shotley Marina near Ipswich in Suffolk.

I've been to a few classic car shows and they become boring, this on the other hand is awesome!

Still, probably a bit too far for the Ferguson Grey Menace - I could make the May event if I leave now...
