Wrong forum. I like these a lot, shame they didn't put the turbo engine into the Marea though - bit too brash for me.

One of the few modern cars that I though was actually interesting looking when it was new. Certainly very distinctive. I believe it was styled by Chris Bangle before he lost the plot at BMW, wasn't it?

Yes it was! I think it's a nice car, but it shows Chris Bangle's stupid approach to car design. It's like a kid designed it, funk knows how he got the job at BMW! I'm not knocking it, I still think it looks rather cool!I'd like to see the concept plans for it!

Looks in absolutely lovely nick. Whats with the german plates on an italian car though?PS i like chris bangles stuff! Particularly the 'fugly' 7-series with the indicators above the headlights, I think thats a marvellous-looking mota.

german plates where the only option at the time for something different,but i will be doing a plate transfer so it will have normal plates on it when sold.cheers scott

hi gompoyes its still available,the sensible mods are,stainless exhaust,k and n induction kit,alloy recirculating dumpvalve,manual boost controller ,strutbrace and alloy interior rings,all of this can be quickly returned to standard.hat need fitted and paintedi also have the le skirts and front lips that need fitted and painted.haven't done much to sell the car really,as i will have a wee tear in my eye when it finally goes.cheers scott
