Fire Extinguishers... Update: Actual fire.

I have an extinguisher in the kitchen and one one the landing upstairs. Has you say fire can spread really quickly and by the time you run downstairs to get the kitchen one it could be too late.

Recently been on a course about this kind of thing myself.

To be honest, "let it burn and leg it" is biggest takeaway I had from it.

Save my place of work? Bollocks to that.

Save my car? Would the bastard save me in a fire? If it was the X308 it would kick me in the bollocks and pour paraffin on me.

After inconsistant's  post I'm going to purchase some spares.  I have one in the garage and one in the kitchen, but I think I'll have another two of decent size in the hall cupboard and in the cupboard just outside the bedrooms.
