Wowsers. That looks like some decent engineering going off.

No mention of IVA tests from them yet, either!

Blimey! I must admit, I've rather fallen in love with the Subaru flat six, after watching the build of the Mighty Car Mods Super Gramps.

It'll be an interesting chat with the insurance broker, who will/might/should* want an engineers report before insuring it.

And any self respecting *Engineer will surely put in said report the need for an IVA along with the conclusions from his rough guess stress calculations

* If that's not how it works I want to know, "why not?"

Gotta love MCM! I agree, it gave me reason to love that engine, too.

I'm enjoying the Honda B16 conversion in Moog's Mini atm. Although nothing will beat the Double Unicorn.

Chopped!

I agree, but it gets tedious on there. As soon as someone showcases something fun, out come the nazi's.

I was expecting to see some Renner 25 porn. Oh well... skulks off to look at ebay bargains.

I love a bit of Craftsmanship and people who are clearly modern day blacksmiths , but would love it just once if someone showed how they did the design work first on a 3D CAD model and used FEA to calculate bending moments, and worked out exactly where to add extra bracing without "common-sense" and gut feel.
