Great fred. A is Volvo 740 inastate, B is ?, C is Jaaag E Type, D Lambo Miura?, E is a proper Mini, and F is a ? Mark.

And now I'd like to hand over to the professionals.

Shit the bed. I confused a Deux Cheveaux with a fekking Miura.

Volvo 740?

Porsche 911 ( early )

E type ( 3.8 )

2CV

Mini

Polo or possibly a Golf mk2?

Posted

The Mini looks like a mk6 or 7.(exhaust system looks odd)

Last one is a mk1 Glof

E type is S3 (lights under bumper)

Some really good guesses here.

A couple dragged from God only knows. Ha

Eddie Hodna knows his shiz. The last one definitely looks like a facelift mk1 Golf.

Volvo 740

Porsche 911 2.0

Jaguar E Type with all synchro box, probably a 4.2

2CV, one of the later ones.

Mini Cooper with MPi

Mark 1 Golf with the EA827 engine - looks like a GTI.

I was doing it on a phone without Googling. Not wide of the mark either.

Couldn't tell you the Volvo model, but the rear suspension is distinctive.

The posh Beetle from the manifold count / engine location.

The Citroen is easy to tell from it's suspension arms.

The Mini from it's size, battery box in the boot floor. The exhaust / gear selector narrows it down further.

The Golf because of it's also distinctive rear beam.

Is it weird that my first thought on F was mk1 Scirocco? Which is like seeing a horse and thinking it's a brown zebra.

I did not know A or F

I did get:

B. early 911

C. E Type

D. 2CV

E. Mini

The E Type is a six cylinder car but not an early one, it is a series two 4.2, you can tell by the way the exhausts splay out to accommodate the square number plate that hangs down between the redesigned rear lights.
