M'coli Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 An Italian colleague has found his Citroen C5's clutch slipping this week, and may need to get to northern Italy in it before New Year! Any idea how involved this is, i.e. labour costs etc.?
sierraman Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 If it's like most stuff made in last 20 years a clutch will not be a driveway job. I'd find somewhere that does Taxis, they'll have done dozens of these. Like anything you do a lot you get quicker at it.
Kiltox Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Agree with sierraman - wouldn't feel comfortable doing a clutch on something that big and heavy on axle stands - fuck all room I'd imagine to drop the box.
Guest Lord Sward Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 It'll be a subframe down job if its that involved.
