Driven by Bill Maynard playing the part of a dishonest Antique dealer in the episode A picture of a place if I remember correctly

LOL! Only on Autoshite could three people correctly identify an really obscure old Jap car from an askance-angled phone pic of a TV. Within 4 minutes.

I used to love tales of the unexpected. Remember one about a bee keeper who fed his daughyer royal jelly and, if I remember correctly, she turned into a bee. Does anyone else remember this?

My grand-dad taught me to drive in one of these.   I was pissed off because he had just sold his P6 before my 17th.   It wasn't a bad old barge, really.  Just not a P6.....

Royal Jelly I think the episode was called, possibly Timothy West playing the bee keeper?

I had two of those 180B estates both with plenty of Isopon's finest P38 added to the disappearing bodywork. One was a kind of bright blue, P-reg bought for £50 with MOT and tax. Did have some issues such as dents, wings made of filler, non-functioning brake lights and indicators that wouldn't flash so had to resort to moving the indicator stalk rapidly so they appeared to flash. It served me well for a while but it had to go so advertised it for £85. One guy asked if it suitable for use as a mini-cab, told him it would be great in Beirut (when they were having a bit of a barney there) but not so good in London. Sold it to a bloke for £70 who had just become a dad and he was delighted with it. I did tell him about the brake lights and indicators though as I'm a nice guy even when I'm selling a pile of crap. No really I am.
