Oh no back to flat four crap.

They do rust a bit. My mate used to be mad for them and a good few of even the tidy ones need welding.

We went to see a McRae edition one at a Garage in Glasgow two years ago. It was filthy,  no mot, covered in dents and scuffs and had 4 flat tyres but hadn't been barried. I think they wanted 1800 quid for it and when we went to the office a guy with the face and build of a bare knuckle boxer and a rangers tattoo on the side of his face said "nae fuckin offers" so we left. I wish I'd managed to get it now you hardly ever see them I think they're all stashed away.

Having owned one for a few years, about 5 or 6 years ago, can happily state that I've never driven a more satisfying, engaging or rewarding car. I miss it terribly! I was the 3rd owner and it had a full main dealer service history. It was perfect. Health to enjoy

Well I haven't even driven this one yet apart from off the trailer and I have someone wanting to buy it with real paper too.

I was a bit pissed that they called at 11.30 though so told them I would sleep on it.

Here's my second one with stick-on front bumber extension (which I removed and binned).

I've had an early 260 bhp WRX and a very late UK Turbo wagon.

The noise levels in the wagon drove me mental, OK, it had a WR Sport exhaust, but I'm sure it was louder inside the car than outside.

A friend of mine has an absolute monster, based on a mk1 Impreza WRX wagon.

It was originally a stock Japanese import, then over the past few years (especially the last two), it's gained extended arches, much wider wheels and bigger brakes, and is now putting out 320hp.

It's also black. So very, very black. It's very sinister looking with its massive intercooler almost bulging out of the front bumper.

Fuck only knows how much it would be worth (if he were ever to sell it, but that's highly unlikely), but I still don't know if he'd make back the money he's poured into it. Who cares though? It's epic.

I have to say even though the above look nice I much prefer the saloons,

Anyway I'm back to flat four as this happened, the old hymac bucket makes an excellent crusher.

Out of that lot you will never guess which one folded the easiest and which was the hardest.
