Nissan bluebird parts needed

Recommended Posts

Hi all, parts needed for my 1989 Nissan bluebird, looking for a good condition bonnet (I believe all T12/T72's shared the same bonnet - but feel free to correct me if i'm wrong), and a black unpainted type front bumper, may also be interested in other parts if you are breaking a complete car, happy to collect from within approx. 200 mile radius of Suffolk area, good prices paid, or may even consider a complete car if its not too far away and cheap enough

any help much appreciated

Thanks for the offer, but I've got easy access to service items, its the bonnet and bumper that are most needed, as these are holding up the restoration (hence why i'm willing to travel and pay very good money for either).

Nice first post.

Shame the old ZXOC isn't around anymore as that was the nearest thing the Bluey had to an OC. That was a few years ago, back when you could get Turbo Blueys for £50 needing a little work.

I can only suggest you look up Nidge on Z-net. He was the admin of ZXOC and may still be in contact with some of the Bluebird lickers.

This is why I sacked-off my s12 in the end. Even with contacts in Aus and the US I couldn't any front wishbone arms anywhere.

£50 for a Turbo Bluey? I paid £80 for mine (2001) - I wuz robbed clearly!

Still have the 'ZXTurbo' boot badge stuck to a shelving upright in the garage today, the rest is long gone, never owned a car that was so comprehensively worn out in every department as that one was but still never broke down. (The battery - the only non-knackered bit -  went on to give three more years service in the Golf GTi that replaced it).

I've a mid 80s Ozzie sss thingy with no B pillars (built like that!) someplace? Is it beginning to rise in value now?

Complete spares car might be worth considering - then you could make a really good one and then start the process over again with the spares car. It's the Autoshite way!

Thanks, have been looking at these two, just trying to work out how I could collect them, as both are about 4-5hrs away from me, just put a help ad on Retrorides for anyone in my area with a low-loader/car trailer who might be up for the journey in return for a bit of cash, might well post the same on here.

Derek Fiske at Diss rent out a recovery truck, might be worth considering?
