That does seem quite strong money for a pre facelift Punto 2.

Punto 2 is way better than Punto 2.5 I wouldn't let that or CAT D put me off. I'm not in the market though, but next to no MOT, gumtree spec pics, and it ain't really a shitters price is it?

I've always wondered why people say something like "small blow on exhaust, will be mended by sale".  If that's the case why mention it?  Unless of course they have no intention of mending it.

The small blow on the exhaust may be the manicat which is a twat to weld up.

To be fair, if you drove one you'd probably fall in love with it. They're great fun, very quick and quite a simple car. pretty much just as a small car should be. Parts are cheap and they're phenominal  femidominal ace on fuel.

Usually because there's always a smart arse who pops up to say "I saw this at the lights, it was making a right racket! Exhaust clearly fucked, rip off, don't buy people!" Know the sort I mean? ;-)

Well I'd rather do a swap for something shite to be fair - and derisory offers are always welcome!

Too short an MOT for me but GLWS.

1.2 8v is non interference engine I believe?

yeah exactly mate, just whack a new belt on when the old one snaps

I'm going to MOT it and carry on, it's got a new geabox in it, and it's smashng on the motorway.
