been bodging at the car and need a non standard v belt

im sure they may well sell them but only seeing the option to search for my reg

is there a way i can get up all the v belts by size or something?

I have the same problem trying to buy things like power steering fluid. As it's not listed for my car it wont come up in a search. I used google advanced search and type in Eurocarparts as the site to search then what I was looking for. Might be worth a try but typing in drive belt

With great fucking difficulty I find! So much so I've been known to find a car for sale on ebay/auto trader with a reg plate showing just to get into the bloody system

675 wont quiet fit , local place only had a 700 and its too big to tension up

was hoping i could see a list going up in mm increments and choose one from the list

I think you may be better off just phoning your local branch, or another local motor factors, and speaking to a human being instead of trying to bend a computerised system to your will.

ECP's online system isn't really designed with finding non-standard parts in mind.

Good luck!

I rang one of the branches local to me as I was after a 2.5" 2 bolt exhaust gasket and he said he couldn't help, without a reg.

Just order the one for the standard car - it will be wrong anyway and if you are lucky it might work for your bodge up

Either cut the old belt and measure the length or run some string round the pulleys and measure that. Then look at how many ribs it has and ring your local factors. 875 x 6 ribs would be 6pk875 for example

I phoned yesterday for stuff for work, including cam belts for old pintos we use for training. No idea what they came off beyond being 1800s I think they are most likely Sierra. Got through to a very rough line that didn't sound like it was in Tamworth and tried to explain the situation. I am sure I heard the very moment that her brain exploded at the concept of an engine not connected to a car. I eventually sorted it by googling sierras until I saw one old enough to have a pinto and used the reg.

Throwing in 680mm belt on eBay brings up loads in all flavours, v/3pk/6pk, might wind into the pulley and tension nicely

Phone up Gates Automotive. Ask them to tool up for you.

Our local factors has a gates measuring tool to measure oddball belts but not sure if they have anything for going around the pulleys

probably because he  can't drive the  stock control system other than the  via the reg no route ...

anyone  actually worked for them care to comment ?

no, because they won't be able to log on here without a reg number ;-)
