Towbar fitments WJ Grand Cherokee

Anybody know if the chassis towbar arrangement on a 2000 grand Cherokee is the same as the earlier models, trying to find a witter type towbar and struggling.

Now Witter on the current catalogue. Are you looking for a flange type bar?

Yep so we can fit a combined pin and ball type coupling.

Plenty listed for the earlier ones so wondered if it was a type approval/ needing auto box cooler type issue why they don't seem to easy to come by.

They did do one in the 2014 catalogue I've just rummaged round the PC for (keep all sorts of junk like this):

I took a towbar off a 2001 WJ and it bolted straight onto a 2005. The electrics are plug and play too.

Cool, found a PCT one at a sensible price, BavarianRetro I'm having a moment is it already wired and you just need to put a fuse in and insert an appropriate plug to the trailer socket.

The factory loom plugs into the rear light loom at the driver's side IIRC.
