Roffle would be wonderful.

After Tuesday and the garage have looked over it, I will look at starting a raffle.

I am taking it to the garage tomorrow. If it doesn't need anything doing to it, or very little I will have 12 months MOT put on it.

How much per ticket do tickets usually go for?

It depend what you value the car at, I suppose. I'd have thought with 12 months MOT it's worth surely £450-£495 (rough estimate) so £7.50-£8.00 per ticket?

Yes I would say around £450.

I have had an unofficial MOT today (not me the car) and it needs around 3 hours of welding to the rear drivers side suspension and the windscreen washers aren't working.  My mechanic says it is not bad. It drove very well up to the garage considering it hasn't moved for weeks although the passenger shelf has accumulated a fair bit of rain water.

If there is still interest in it I will raffle it, maybe at £6 a ticket, however I am concerned that if only four people for example buy a ticket I will end up selling a car for £24!

Don't worry - you're in charge of the raffle - if you haven't sold enough tickets to be comfortable - you don't have to run it.

The raffle runs when you say it does and you don't start collecting money until enough people have put their names down. A few raffles have been quietly abandoned because there wasn't enough interest.

There is another roffle thread might be worth checking the numbers taken there.
