At one point at work, someone had made the executive decision to give up screwing floor panels down.

 

Their solution to avoid getting found out? Glue screw heads in the holes. Genius.

I understand that Honda's "Comstar" wheels were glued together using avaiation glue (stronger than welding) but to stop people worrying they glued rivet heads around the rims for "peace of mind".

I have required every one of those bolts at one time or another, sometimes on trucks, but more often on aeroplanes!

On the odd occasion I have had to make a bolt, several of my attempts have turned out like the above!
