Ooh you have powerfold mirrors too! I love my ZT, I've found myself feeling more love for this and my previous ZT than I have for any other modern I've owned.

Theyre just ridiculous value right now.

Yup power fold skull caps. Tyres are all the same size now, unfortunately Events, but it's not gonna see winter roads.

My 75 has failed it's MOT on a broken spring, ineffective handbrake and a bit of rot near the subframe mount.  I was tempted by that aubergine one on Gumtree, but the MOT history reveals it's mileage is actually closer to 100K rather than 63K, so I'll stick.

I also considered that Mondeo being punted on here, but it seems so drab inside after one of these.

What about the blue 1999 Connoisseur SE which is on there too? That looks pretty nice.

Its only a broken spring, and the handbrake needs some adjustment.

Is the 'bit of rot' near the subframe failing it? Can they be more specific than just a bit of rot near something?

Just mot'd my ZT. 2 broken springs and blow from rear box! Advisory for ball joint and handbrake. Bloody things!! I  8 years of owning these things I've never gone a year without some sort of suspension issue. Replaced 3 springs and one suspension arm. Result was silent front suspension for about 3 days!! Now something else is clanking. Ungrateful bastard thing!!  :?

^^ Drop links somehow unsettled during the faffing about fitting new springs?

These bloomin drop links are a favourite on these cars.

It's going into the local garage to be fixed next week, I've decided to keep it.  Even if it costs about £400 that's still not much for another 12 months of wafting about.

^^ And that is the right decision FP!

Folk pay that every single month to drive a modern white german car with pootooth.
