Volvo Tundra concept.

The last day when a man made such a decision was somewhen in 1986. If it were still men making such decisions, it wouldn't happen.

No man would browse a catalog of Swedish au pair girls and then say 'okay, we'll take a moose'.

These decisions are long since made by comittees consisting of dark suits carefully groomed in years of formal education* to have no balls whatsoever.

All they have ever learned is that creativity is punished, conformity is rewarded and intelligence is the ability to repeat what they were told by someone.

And they are meanwhile not only running car companies, but everything. Every single aspect of our lives is micro managed by them.

You should have seen the concepts for the replacement of the first 5 Series BMW, another Gandini design btw.

But the committee decided on the lame e28 facelift.

It's all decided by accountants now.

The accountants at BMW decide which BMW design will appeal to the accountants who will buy them and insist on them as fleet cars for everyone else, and the Police.

How are there even accountants?

The whole world is in debt. Fuck knows who to.

I think the "photocopier salesman in a rush" also has a say in modern car design. Both Audi and BMW have heavy duty copiers - it speeds up car design no end; and it keeps the salesmen happy.
