Bastard BMW. Compact trauma. What should I do with it?

I'd agree that it's not worth spending another penny on, whang it on your local illiterate people's facebook sales site with the following description.

BMW 316Ti compact M-sport

remapped to 180bhp (no proof)

MOT just out - wont need anything for next MOT

Has aircon - just needs a regas

Has a slight misfire very occasionally - mate who works for BMW says it just needs MAF cleaning

No stupid offers - I know what these are worth

Don't specify a price, seems not to be the done thing on these groups.

After reading that I'm tempted to put an offer in myself!

Currently awaiting reply from Station about whether he wants it for the trim, otherwise, it's getting fucked off. It's surplus to requirements, and I don't think I'll ever trust it enough anyway. Really CBA with a money pit, when it won't be that nice a car when done.

Not one of my better buys, that's for sure!

Put "collectable" in the ad. Chance a battery and an airbox - if it doesn't work send the bastard to be recycled into shipping containers.

You know, I love these things. They drive as well as they look horrible - which is a lot. Big boot, too. Just think of them as a two-seater and never put the rear seats up.

All the above only applies to a reliable one, though. Sadly, yours has CarTakeBack written all over it.

Can't you just hammer a E36 compact over the top of it. Then change the engine to an M44 1.8 petrol.
