Calling TooSavvy....

I've got the chance of a Proton Savvy for an almost too cheap to be true price - 2006 with 59k miles

No MoT though

Got any advice on what to look for and what jobs on them are horrendous / deal breakers / etc?

Cheers!

Bottom balljoint is same as Tigra (bolt on)

Clio D4F 16v + box.... Tough! No 'clio tin box loom issues' :)

No parts at factors. Brakes are Akebono = Matiz rear/Aveo front (front wbrg too)

Rear wbrg fragile......

Drums [mine :( ] chinese cake icing iron....

Exhaust dealer only... Possibly ebay rear?? CAT £300

However Clio 16v front pipe could be made to fit, from my investigations.

Not rusty but go very brown underneath.

Water gets in at hatch cable gromit and I have seen one on fleebay with wob on drivers rear arch under that gromit = gutter seal is your friend M8.

Is there any kind of resource out there for all of this cross matching of parts?

Doesn't sound like a terrible proposition though, might give it a look over tomorrow

I quite like them. Along with the cityrover, they are bound to be future autoshite gold!

Urgh might need to give it a miss, seller is the kind of pikey that openly advertises for MOT failures/scrap and is selling them on with no work etc, probably because it's fucked

Aye... well mine had turned to 'pie crust'! Swollen at the back of the outer lip... it was rubbing on the backplate.

I went round the outside with an old chisel...whangging away loose flakes of rust... FiinnMinnginn :?
